Voter est un droit certes, mais aussi un devoir… ah bon ?
C’est le titre d’un post du candidat UMP de ma circonscription.
Si c’était un devoir, il y aurait au moins une loi qui l’indiquerait et notre ex-ministre de l’intérieur se serait empressé volontiers de verbaliser les contrevenants comme ça se passe en Belgique par exemple. Et ce n’est pas non plus un droit, en tout cas malheureusement pas pour tout le monde.
Savez vous que si vous n’êtes pas inscrit depuis le 31 décembre 2006 sur une liste électorale, vous n’avez pas le droit de voter cette année ? Non, eh bien dommage pour vous, il est aujourd’hui trop tard pour aller élire votre futur président ou député.
Monsieur Sarkozy, malgré une pétition organisée par Rachid Nekkaz, signée par 405 députés soit plus de 70% de l’assemblée nationale, a refusé de faire passer une proposition de loi visant à inscrire automatiquement les cinq millions d’électeurs non inscrits.

Notre ex-ministre de l’intérieur ne s’est probablement pas trop fait d’illusion sur le contenu du vote de ces oubliés dont une bonne part s’est fait stigmatiser et traiter de “racaille “. Et il s’est bien arrangé pour que ce refus ne soit pas repris abondamment par les médias. Cinq millions de citoyens interdit de voter ? Ce n’est certainement pas aussi important que de savoir qu’il y avait 100 000 personnes au congrès du 14 janvier… euh pardon, seulement 30 000…

On ne se demandera pas pourquoi l’état, pourtant si prompt à savoir vous verbaliser automatiquement à coup de robot radar dès que vous conduisez au dessus des limites imposées n’arrive même pas à vous recenser automatiquement pour les élections…
Et qu’en est il de la prise en compte du vote blanc ? Ca fait on ne sait combien d’années que cette polémique existe. Aucun élu de l’UMP ou du PS n’a bougé le petit doigt pour que les élections comptabilisent les votes blancs. Il ne serait pas convenable de s’apercevoir que même pas 30 % de la population vote pour l’un de ces deux partis…
Nous les libéraux disons STOP à l’hypocrisie électorale des vieux partis et avons des propositions concrètes :
* Comptabilisons les votes blancs et nuls séparément
* Inscrivons automatiquement les citoyens en âge de voter sur les listes électorales
* Ne faisons pas de vote électronique: le bon déroulement du vote est tout simplement impossible à vérifier par le citoyen de base.
* Elisons nos députés à la proportionnelle, et non plus par circonscription afin que toutes les sensibilités politiques des français soit effectivement représentées dans leur véritable proportion.
